This was a sappy tear-jerker but everyone needs those once in a while. It's a short, quick read that reinforced the importance of family, giving and appreciating what you have. The main character is a young woman who has always wanted to be a writer, especially as a newspaper reporter. It's a very interesting story to see how she uses her talent and how she becomes involved with anonymous gifts of jars of change that are given to the needy at Christmas. Now I'll have to get out the tissues and read the author's next holiday story.
